It doesn't matter what gift I give the boys and girls in my classes, they LOVE to receive homework passes each holiday. :)

A few more 2012 calendars...
Happy New Year's Eve! After posting calendars yesterday, I was asked about adding a few more of them in horizontal format. Here they are... I believe January-June are now all provided in both vertical and horizontal formats. Happy planning! :)

Turkey Toes!
I love the holidays! My students do, too. This little activity is kind of cheesy, but I know the boys and girls will like it. It's a modified "Turkey Poop" poem from pinterest. I'm attaching it to a tiny bag of "Indian Corn" (candy corn). The border is KPM Doodles, fonts are DJ Lex and CK Teacher's Pet.
And, of course, they ALWAYS love receiving a holiday homework pass! (DJ inkers)

Holiday Homework Passes...
No matter what cute little gift I get students, this is ALWAYS one of their favorites! I used to print on colored paper, cut out, hole-punch and attach with ribbon, but over the years, I've disovered that the boys and girls prefer to color and cut these out themselves...who knew!
I'm attaching the original copy from Mailbox that I used to use, as well as a similar version that I made using djinkers clipart and fonts. I hope your classes enjoy these as much as mine do!

Calendars, calendars...
The holidays are quickly approaching! My FAVORITE time of the year! Below are a couple of calendars for November and December that I use on my school webpage. I'm attaching last year's calendars and the ones I'll be using this year (after I have dates to include). You can save these and open in powerpoint. Then, insert clip art and text boxes - along with your own school holiday dates, activities, etc. Fun, fun!

Back to School "Magic Confetti"
I love, love this! During our "Open House/Teacher Meet & Greet," I give each student a little "Welcome to 3rd Grade" treat bag. "Magic Confetti" is included...it's any type of confetti in a tiny ziplock bag which is stapled to one of the notes.

I use this throughout the school year to encourage my 3rd graders to keep their desks organized and clean. I used a djinkers font and border and thistlegirldesigns clipart.

Happy Birthday!
I use this to acknowledge birthdays throughout the school year. I add it to my website and to my classroom wall. Of course, there is a header above it that says, "Happy Birthday!" Feel free to insert text boxes and add one your own boys' and girls' names. This was made using djinkes fonts and thistlegirldesigns clipart.
Similarly, we have amazing parents that want to provide treats and cokes (student rewards) throughout the year. So, I assign months to each student. It's on my webpage, and I print one for each parent that volunteered.
